Employee ID
The market and what we offer
Whether government agency or corporate employees are concerned, employee ID cards with Match-on-Card technology offer several options for increased security and reduced costs.
The main reason for companies or government agencies to introduce employee ID cards with Match-on-Card technology is the reduced cost from eliminating complex and expensive password systems.
Healthcare is one potentially profitable area within the Employee ID segment, especially in the US. Issuing ID cards to doctors and other healthcare staff would facilitate access to medical files and information, and patients could rest assured that only authorized staff could retrieve their personal details.

References
Employee ID cards with Precise Match-on-Card™ technology are today used throughout the world for logging onto computers and networks, boosting traceability in IT systems, reducing costs and simplifying matters for users. The principal customers are large companies and government agencies.
Employees at AXA Equitable, a part of the global AXA Group, uses Precise Match-on-Card in a smart card based solution with .NET card from Gemalto to log on to their computers. The system includes thousands of users and is an excellent example on the cost-efficient and user-friendly advantages Match-on-Card offers.
Market potential
Together with Gemalto, Precise Biometrics developed a Match-on-Card solution which is extremely well integrated with the Microsoft Windows environment and is based on .NET cards. This solution is based on the technology developed for AXA and is an entirely unique market offer and is expected to have major potential. The solution was launched early 2009 and at the end of the year with support for Windows 7. It holds expectations of rapid growth in coming years as upgrades of operating systems will take place.
Even if competition is increasing in this segment, Precise Biometrics aspires to retain its current market leading position and capture a substantial market share.
Partners
Besides Gemalto, partners within the segment include application partners, system integrators and channel partner.
