Helen celebrates 10 years

The financial assistant Helen Larsson has worked for Precise Biometrics for almost ten years. What she likes most about her job is the flexibility, the fact that no two days are ever the same. And her colleagues, of course.

What does a financial assistant do?

I look after our supplier invoices and work with our financial statements. Even if there are certain set routines, no day is quite like any other. I really think that’s is important. The variation keeps your motivation up and makes it fun to keep on going.

You have previously worked in the public sector. How does that differ?

They keep the reins a lot tighter there, and the work is more monotonous. In a smaller company like Precise Biometrics there are more opportunities to do a wider variety of things. The job is also more flexible, which is something you appreciate when have small children.

How long have you been at Precise Biometrics?

Well, I’ll be part of the furniture soon! I’ve been here since 2000. More than anything else, it’s all the nice colleagues that have kept me here. I personally feel as if I have developed, when I think about who I was then, and who I am now. My responsibility has increased as the years have gone by.

How has the company developed during these years?

Today the organization is a lot more focused on sales. There was a lot more focus on the technical side before, it also feels as if we have now really landed on our feet as an organization today. It has been exciting and I’ve met lots of interesting and clever people over the years.

How is it working for Precise Biometrics?

It’s really great. If I didn’t like it, I wouldn’t have stayed here all these years.
