Precise Biometrics’ head office is situated in the Ideon Science Park in Lund .
Precise Biometrics AB
The parent company Precise Biometrics AB is situated in Lund.
R&D, Administration, Marketing, Sales, Logistics and some of marketing activities for are run from the head office in Lund. The company’s Management team also operates from the head office.
The Parent company employed a staff of 25 as of December 31, 2009.
Precise Biometrics Solutions AB
The subsidiary Precise Biometrics Solutions AB has its office in Karlstad and is an integrated part of the parent company. The office in Karlstad is mainly engaged in software development for Precise Biometrics, as well as sales related activities towards the Scandinavian market. The company is also engaged in external consultancy assignments.
In 2009, the business in Precise Biometrics Solutions AB has increased its focus towards the main business of the parent company. This had led to reorganization and decrease in personnel.
The company had 9 employees as of December 31, 2009.
Precise Biometrics Asia Ltd.
Since 2007, Precise Biometrics has had local representation in Asia through its subsidiary Precise Biometrics Asia Ltd. in Hong Kong. During 2010, Precise Biometrics Asia Ltd. will be liquidated. The parent company still sees potential in the Asian market but will continue its market activities towards Asia from the headquarters in Lund.
Precise Biometrics Inc.
The company has a subsidiary in the USA since 2000.
Sales activities in mainly the North American market are run from here. In 2009, the American subsidiary has taken over the responsibility of activities towards Latin America.
Precise Biometrics Inc. had one employee as of December 31, 2008.
Smart Unicorn Solutions
With a holding of 38 percent, Precise Biometrics has been part-owner of the Chinese company Smart Unicorn Solutions (SUS) since 2006.
In 2008, Precise Biometrics wrote down the engagement in SUS as a result of the company not reaching expectations.
Other companies
The group also consists of the dormant company Precise Biometrics Services AB, and Loqware Sweden AB which is undergoing liquidation.
